Things continue but hopefully this is the last :/

UMMMM  well things have not been so good - yep i still have the flu, i mentioned in previous posts nick ditched his car, thankfully hes safe and well however the car isnt and its just cost us to get another (although cheapy) to get him to work BUT thats now sorted
Ali was buried Tuesday so that sad day has passed
Viki had an electrical fire in the early hours monday/tuesday :( fortuneately she was still awake) both her and liam are safe and fine  thankfully (once again) also thankfully not to much damage she had a day without electric and lost a days work, has a 7ft hole in her garden and possibly a blessing in disguise the fact we had an electrical fire not so long ago i had told her what had happened and explained about switching the mains electric off etc and she remembered - firemen were brill and praised her for doing everything right as did the electric company :) BUT thats all sorted now phew!


~SOOOOOOOOOOO things are getting better - please please please - this flu is hanging on but on 5th week so cant be around me much longer can it ?? 
they forcast snow BUT its gonna rain too so wash it away :D


Now ... arghh diet not started, due to illness :( i played darts last night and hardly able to stand im so weak lost my game and feeling crap so no diet till i can get back up and about as normal
its only a quick note tonight updating the crap but with relief of some matters being sorted 
so with a cough and wheeze will say night :ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

We start the year off 1/1/11 :)

Sadlly my year starts with a funeral (again) on the 4th - the remainder of the flu which appears to just be going, only to come back with a vengence time and again :/
There are petty grivences all around me mainly with friends and their families which seem some how to land on my door step - hows that keep happening.

My mums in failing health, sister wants her put in a home - the one thing my mum has always feared. At the moment i see no reason, shes cared for several times a day by carers she has constant visitors and only mid evening when everyone has their own things to do and sit down after a days work does she have a few hours on her own, even then someone may turn up. Im fearing time with my mum is shorter than we wish it to be :( she will be 90 this year, my one wish for her is that she remains in her own home.

So the new year im feeling defiant - i look back and see that the past year people thought they had the right to criticise me point out all my failings (and infront of others) going to some almost embarrassing lengths to show me up for my faults of which im already aware - this year im not letting that happen whatever the consequences.
There are some who need to know they wont be getting away with it any more, i will be treating them as they treat me and i kinda think they wont be happy with all the criticism i can come up with mainly because they are far far from perfect but also it seem unaware of the fact!
Facebook informs people of my new policy to give as given so they have been fore-warned !


HA HA THE DIET

umm yes here i go again back down that road again - I will have to wait till well i know i cant manage whilst ill - im working on recovery - my aim to start eating fresh foods and drink more water just a start and as soon as this body can manage i will begin a proper 'get this fat off' diet and exercise. Mainly i intend to run for exercise i wish to do the race for life in support of breast cancer and i would like to run or at least jog most of it rather than walk - after all it is a race.

Will is at his works do today - im hoping he doesnt over enjoy his self :/ i hate the aftermath but hope he enjoys a good time.

New years eve we spent at the snooker club - sadly full of people who usually dont frequent which took the personal side from but a good time was had by all and i tried to drown my flu with little success going home rather sober considering all i consumed :(
Forgot the camera so no pics unless i can get some from my friends (who generally scare me with the awful pics of myself) :D




viki went to pretty in pink breast cancer charity new years do with her friend simone from the pics they seem to have had a really errr really good time lol im not posting the rest of the pics :/ ha ha ha
But theyre good girls. Liam stayed with Nick neither wanted to join any of us going out but we all saw the new year in with a good riddance to the previous one!

whooo hoo a good good christmas :)

Well depite all the crap pre Christmas, we had one brilliant day.

But to begin at the begining :- getting the crap out of the way :(
This Christmas week started with a bereavement again :( -seemingly to be almost common to our Christmas's each year now (although its now time for that to stop no more thank you :( enough enough)
Ali was only 38 Her mum Sue went to call her up and found her curled in a ball she had died in her sleep, she had a stomach ulcer which burst and led to internal bleeding :'( We've not been informed of the funeral arrangements yet it may be in the 3 days after christmas or maybe in the New Year ... i really dont think i can face another new year with a funeral, but i guess if its to be :/

Ive now had the flu for 2 weeks, the cough is horrific making me continually sick, i dont really know how ive got through all the Christmas preparations but its done .. phew!
Money is short because of snow (will as a builder doesnt get to work in this nor does he get paid ) 8 inches and its hanging about, then on wednesday i dragged myself into work only to be told they had lost a huge contract, 350 people were looking to lose their jobs and as a contractor of course there was no further work for me :/


BUT NOW TO CHRISTMAS - a quiet one (quietest ever) but :) a brill one

Viki and liam stayed several days as the roads were impassable, but went back home thursday, i dragged myself shopping dragged myself round the house cleaning and finished decorating for christmas - i dragged myself to wrap presents and prepare food and finally collapsed awaiting the onslaught of christmas day cooking and frivollities .
Christmas day was fabulous:)

Nick was up suprisingly early (something hes not done for years) and in a very good mood - we opened pressies and i had some lovely perfume and other gifts from him and later viki and I opened a joint gift of a pamper day from him to :D excellent or what !
Feeling a tiny bit better although cough still attacking me frequently, i sorted the dinner out when Viki and Liam arrived and we sat and opened more pressies. Will and i have tickets for strictly come dancing in April, i got a dressing gown and slippers from the. Vik and liam got a indoor sky diving day from nick, i suggested we have the pamper day after shes sky dived :D :D
both Nick and Viki had money from me and a few small gifts Liam i put half towards a laptop and he too had just a few mini things to open. Will had beer and lots of mens things along with our tickets.


Dinner was yummy and we were all stuffed we had lots of laughter, photos show the madness of my family ha ha ha but it was a fun day and although a very very quiet Christmas for us never having less than 10 to feed before, it turned out to be one of the best we've had for a long time.

Today my cough seems to have eased and flu is hopefully passing over, although not well i think im definately improving. My sister is doing some tea for us later this afternoon (hope shes not done to much food im still stuffed from yesterday )
In the mean time, im just lazing, will has only just emerged from bed and no one else has made it up yet but they can lay there till then need to move :)


Well things to do i guess i had better move :/ hope everyone had a good one this year and hope the new year is the best ever!

~Well here it all goes again :(

Well peeps sorry - all the crap is still on going :/
I have the flu :( the cough is choking me and making me sick i feel like crap !
We also have 8 inches of snow to everything and i mean everything in England has come to a halt (some have lots more than us) My daughter cant get home, although we did manage to retrieve the rabbit, but it was a long hazzardous journey all be it only a few miles away, hubby took her to get clothes and bunny and i was relieved to have them back home. (lost the lap top to liam for the weekend though) TUPS is loving the snow !



More bad news - bad bad news
Ali friend and neighbour died yesterday so we have another funeral to attend - christmas loss again :( she was only 37 seems so wrong so young i so feel for her mum and family my thoughts and prayers are with them.
im off to bed liam and vik want to sleep and im coughing and keeping them awake night for now !

SNOW and Christmas

Firstly a note to my blogger friend Jo Prayers are winging their way Jo for your hubby you and your family, hope thing improve for you xxx

Well cant say im happy - SNOW - has returned Hubby barely got a weeks work in so money is gonna be short for a while again :/ - I have little shopping to do this year the kids are having money - im putting towards Liams laptop (he has everything else so easier to by a biggy pres between us) Mum has every thing 100 times over with our big family,really hard to get her anything - found some silly singing birds (she likes rubbish stuff lol)
Just the 5 of us for Christmas dinner so quiet year this year will seem a little odd ive always had miniumn 10 up to about 22 think was most. Neither Viki or Nick have partners now, so just us a chill out resting Christmas.
I've pushed myself to get the tree up and starting to get the house looking festive but as per usual i have been attacked by the flu bug 2 days off work (just when i cant afford to lose money :/) and now i have nasty painful cough, choking me and making me sick - the razor blades in my throat are working overtime too!d

Decorated the bedroom - only refresher it was already pink :D but it was long over due for a clean up - we had intended to make it bigger now Nick is in his new room but its an after Christmas thing now and i needed to have it looking reasonably decent and clean, with all the previous building work it had suffered soooooo now im well pleased , go hubby to put my pics up (at last) and im now trying to tidy the mountain of 'no' clothes that i have - oddly i never have anything to wear so where on earth has this lot come from ?? and where do i put it :S

Well like is say it appears the snow is back - grim or what the first lot lasted a couple of weeks but in comparison to the rest of the country we only had a dusting everywhere else was 6 inches + deep . Even our dusting still put a halt to all and hubby got on with the kitchen now newly decorated from the fire clean and refeshed.
And im needing to go to bed now feeling rough from the flu and reminent cold/cough symptoms its left me with so off for bath and zzzzzzzzzzzzz night peeps
